International Thought Forums
The CEELAT Forums of International Thought offer a space to exchange first-hand information with international leaders and experts on current issues within a regional and global context.
The objective of the forums is to offer a useful tool that gives a competitive advantage to the participants when making decisions.
Workshops
CEELAT offers workshops and informative round tables on current issues and according to the needs of the public.
According to each theme, we identify the particular interests of the actors involved in decision-making and offer a practical analysis so that the participants can be well informed. These events are mainly aimed at members of the government, law firms, international diplomatic missions, the academic community, and people in the business sector responsible for following up on international and government policies.
Impact Investing Meeting
This annual event, organized jointly with the International Center for Social Responsibility & Sustainability (RS Center), aims to accelerate the consolidation of the high-impact investment market in Colombia and is aimed primarily at investors, companies, financial entities, cooperation, government entities and other promoters, as well as consultants and various organizations interested in alliances or investment strategies in profitable projects that contribute to social welfare, environmental protection and local development.

LAC-CORE Regional Headquarters
CEELAT offers workshops and informative round tables on current issues and according to the needs of the public.
Since 2008, CEELAT has been the Andean regional headquarters of the Renewable Energy Council for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC-CORE), with whom it promotes the integration of renewable energies (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) in the different markets of the hemisphere – convening governments, business leaders, academics and other interested actors to offer an in-depth analysis of the current situation of the sector and to be able to advance in the development of RE and EE policies, projects and initiatives.
Since its inception we have scheduled more than 20 events on project financing; energy and security at the hemispheric level; policy development; reconstruction; and advances in the implementation of new technologies and innovation at the regional level.
Energy Cooperation Conference
The objective of this annual conference is to generate a constructive debate and provide an updated analysis of global trends, challenges and opportunities to contribute to the updating and development of new energy policies in the region, emphasizing cooperation opportunities. Topics: (2007) Energy Cooperation in the Western Hemisphere: Benefits and Impediments; (2008) Building a Sustainable Biofuels Strategy for Colombia and the Region; (2009) The Future of Renewable Energy in Colombia and the Region (2010).
Global Trends Conference
The objective of this event is to promote strategic thinking and long-term planning, identifying and analyzing the main global trends and political challenges in the region.
Trough our publications, presentations and commentary, we highlight issues of strategic importance to Colombia and the region.
Work groups
CEELAT leads working groups to promote collaboration and coordination between governments, the private sector, civil society and international organizations on current issues and issues of common interest. These working groups combine national and international experience to generate useful recommendations in the formulation of public and private policies, as well as investment strategies, in an open and impartial environment.
Dissemination of Strategic Information
Periodically, CEELAT conducts studies and works with leaders of the public and private sectors at the international level to advance on issues of vital importance to the region, -identifying priorities, designing strategies, generating recommendations, and supporting the process of formulating and developing policies through through its programs and its global network of experts.

Upon request, CEELAT conducts briefings on critical security issues, bilateral relations, multilateral relations, and global trends.
